Red Light, Rainy Night

About Katherine Wikoff

I am a college professor (PhD in English, concentration rhetoric) at Milwaukee School of Engineering, where I teach film and media studies, political science, digital society, digital storytelling, writing for digital media, and communication. While fragments of my teaching and scholarship interests may quite naturally meander over to my blog, this space is intended to function as a creative outlet, not as part of my professional practice. Opinions are my own, etc.

Wow! Isn’t that amazing. Wish I understood light better, it’s a lot like magic.

    • I agree! I loved those wide stripes of red light reflected on the wet pavement. That’s not always the kind of reflection you see, so I don’t know if it was the angle of the street, the amount of water on the ground, the brightness of the traffic signal bulbs, or what. But I thought those large reflection pathways were really striking!
