Taken this afternoon around 4:00 PM while walking back to my office from class.

I’ve shot several pictures of the museum via this puddle over the years. See a couple of them HERE if you’re interested.
I like raindrops falling into puddles, especially the way concentric circles ripple outward from each individual splash. Even chilly, wet November afternoons can hold pleasurable suprises if you keep your eyes open.
Tiny gifts just waiting to be opened ❤
About Katherine Wikoff
I am a college professor (PhD in English, concentration rhetoric) at Milwaukee School of Engineering, where I teach film and media studies, political science, digital society, digital storytelling, writing for digital media, and communication. While fragments of my teaching and scholarship interests may quite naturally meander over to my blog, this space is intended to function as a creative outlet, not as part of my professional practice. Opinions are my own, etc.
Viewing what your eye captured through the lens is remarkable. When cropped without the cement walk area it gives the look of an impressionist painting with the concentric circles from the raindrops giving it a contemporary feel. Crop it & print it. I could see that for MSOE advertisement or article in a publication.
